The Brevard Ballet Youth Company is a community-funded, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Brevard County, Florida. As the associate production company of the Brevard Ballet Academy, it provides exceptional training and performance opportunities for young dancers, fostering a deep love for the arts.
Under the artistic direction of Elena Shokhina-Ivers, the company has brought full-scale ballet productions to life from scratch—now part of their cherished repertoire—including Swan Lake, The Nutcracker Ballet, Cinderella, and My Christmas Dream. Through innovative performances and community collaborations, the Brevard Ballet Youth Company continues to enrich the cultural landscape of the Space Coast, inspiring the next generation of artists.

I had the pleasure of photographing the enchanting ballet Cinderella at the King Center of Melbourne, a performance that truly captivated the hearts of everyone in attendance. This magical production featured unique, hand-painted backdrops and beautifully custom-made costumes that brought the beloved fairy tale to life in unforgettable ways.
The artistry and grace of the choreography left no one untouched—every movement radiated joy and admiration, earning resounding applause from the audience. The stage bloomed with flowers, celebrating not just the dancers’ talent but the incredible beauty of the entire performance. It was an honor to document such a vibrant and unforgettable moment for the Space Coast community.
