This annual fundraiser and community gathering took place at the spacious and scenic Riverfront Park in Cocoa Village, a beloved venue where locals come together in the heart of town. This year’s event featured a lively array of local vendors, many of whom shared engaging speeches and educational resources to support awareness around preeclampsia and maternal health.
Organized by Preeclampsia Foundation CEO Eleni Tsigas and event chairperson Julie Melitas, the day welcomed participants of all ages to join the Space Coast Walk in a shared commitment to health, hope, and community action.

We were honored to be invited to photograph this meaningful event and help document the heartfelt efforts of everyone involved. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much love and dedication had gone into the planning—volunteers and vendors came together to create a truly welcoming space filled with purpose and community spirit.
Our goal was to capture every thoughtful detail, from the decor at vendor tables to the warm smiles exchanged between guests. Inspiring speakers took the stage, sharing powerful stories and messages that resonated deeply with the crowd. Meanwhile, children played freely in the park, many of them happily pausing to pose for photos as their parents gathered nearby, connecting and sharing their journeys.
Our goal was to create the images to used across social media platforms in real time, helping to amplify the event’s message and bring its energy to those watching from afar.
